Responsibilities:

• Assist with planting, weeding, mulching, and general grounds keeping tasks.
• Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment (e.g., lawnmowers, trimmers, edgers) following proper safety protocols.
• Perform basic landscaping construction tasks under the supervision of experienced team members (e.g., laying sod, installing edging, planting trees and shrubs).
• Assist with loading and unloading materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

• This is a physically demanding position that may require lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy objects.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a General Labourer role.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including physical exertion in hot and humid or cold and windy weather.
• Ability to work independently and as a team while adhering to established procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation a must.

Schedule:

• You will be contacted as needed based on project requirements and client requests. Hours may vary and may include evenings and weekends.

Company Dress Code:

Mālama Aina Property Services Group prioritizes safety and functionality while maintaining a casual and comfortable work environment for our general labour employees. We encourage you to dress in a way that is safe, practical, and allows you to perform your duties effectively.

Here are some general guidelines:

• Tops: T-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, sweatshirts (all in good condition and free of offensive logos or wording)
• Bottoms: Jeans (no rips or holes), work pants, shorts (knee-length or longer)
• Shoes: Closed-toe, sturdy shoes with good tread are mandatory for safety reasons. Sandals or open-toed shoes are not permitted.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): When required for specific tasks, PPE will be provided by the company and must be worn at all times.

Please note:

• This is a general guideline, and specific situations or weather conditions may require adjustments. For example, on very hot days, breathable clothing may be encouraged. Conversely, on cold days, additional layers may be necessary.
• Supervisors may provide additional guidance on appropriate attire for certain tasks or client meetings.
• When unsure, it is always best to err on the side of caution and dress more conservatively.

• Cell phone usage should be limited to personal breaks and should not interfere with work duties.
